For the moment the BAT Studios are off limits, so I am stuck with paper and various drawing instruments. I have tried not to slack off making art, so here's a little something to look at.
Earlier this year I was making paintings of hair (mostly women's up-dos and fanciness). But I always wanted to do paintings of plain old haircuts. I like receding hairlines, so this was my attempt at that.
I am a artist living in Brooklyn and currently an artist-in-residence with Chashama at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. I have been working in encaustic for the past few years, but am usually trying out a couple of different art making media at once. Peter Everett once called my work kitch, but I don't think it bothers me.
