Summer is wrapping up and I dread Mike going back to school. We've had a good summer with a California vacation and a handful of house guests. I was also able to be involved in a couple of shows this summer and am itching to get back into my studio and do some paintings. But for now markers and paper and what I've got:
My paintings and drawings and once in a while a work that I like.

JULY DRAWINGS
It's hot as hell and sadly my studio space is under construction. But I have had some time to draw, mostly while Pierson is napping and I am watching Matlock (that's no joke).
Here is another hair inspired piece. I can't wait until I can actually fool around with color and texture in addition to these lines. Please pardon the lower left corner,I don't know what happened to the exposure.
And here again is my little hair man in profile.

About Me
- KRISTIN
- Brooklyn, NY
- I am a artist living in Brooklyn and currently an artist-in-residence with Chashama at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. I have been working in encaustic for the past few years, but am usually trying out a couple of different art making media at once. Peter Everett once called my work kitch, but I don't think it bothers me.
