Well, I am still totally waiting to hear from Columbia's MFA program. I have this scenario in my head that they have my portfolio on their desk and they are arguing over whether I am good enough or not. In reality, they probably lost everything and I'll be waiting for years.
In the meantime I have been going to the park every day and drawing while Pierson climbs everything he can find.
My paintings and drawings and once in a while a work that I like.

About Me
- KRISTIN
- Brooklyn, NY
- I am a artist living in Brooklyn and currently an artist-in-residence with Chashama at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. I have been working in encaustic for the past few years, but am usually trying out a couple of different art making media at once. Peter Everett once called my work kitch, but I don't think it bothers me.

kristin,
i just found a show that i'm thinking of applying for and thought of you. it's called "penned", and it's a juried exhibition for drawings made with pens and/or markers. you can find more info at artscape.org, if you are interested.
I reeeeeaaaaaaally like your art, I used to like it before, but after taking art history and learning about paul klee, matisse, kandinsky and the like I'm really loving your stuff!
