JULY DRAWINGS

It's hot as hell and sadly my studio space is under construction. But I have had some time to draw, mostly while Pierson is napping and I am watching Matlock (that's no joke).

Here is another hair inspired piece. I can't wait until I can actually fool around with color and texture in addition to these lines. Please pardon the lower left corner,I don't know what happened to the exposure.

And here again is my little hair man in profile.

I love the first one with the swirls, simple and complex all at the same time.

We love having one of your paintings hanging in our house. It's your "famous" one...maybe we should pay you for it or something...we definately talk about when people come over.

About Me

Brooklyn, NY
I am a artist living in Brooklyn and currently an artist-in-residence with Chashama at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. I have been working in encaustic for the past few years, but am usually trying out a couple of different art making media at once. Peter Everett once called my work kitch, but I don't think it bothers me.
